Synopsis

Thuy was a young engineer presenting the new generation of women growing up in the newly-established Communist Vietnam. Thuy had a passion and knowledge to transform nature, taming the legendarily fierce river into a hydroelectric center. The wilderness and harsh reality of the mountainous region became something gentle and irresistable under human hands. Who knows the hands of that young engineer can turn the howling mountains and the screaming rivers into a tender echo, a scientific construction that brought light across the country.
