Synopsis

This documentary video portrays the current state of Lima's underground experimental scene, which has resurfaced after a long lockdown due to the pandemic, all within the context of an ongoing political crisis. The film captures numerous performances in alternative, DIY spaces (basements, houses) where sound experimentation and electronic music parties converge. These collaborative partnerships and economies have fostered the emergence of many artistic collectives. Ultimately, this scene is defined by its eclecticism and the coexistence of genres, which has allowed for great flexibility.
