Synopsis
An ongoing myth says that the loud minority of Metro Manila is the only place of resistance. However, not widely known to many, Cebu was also an epicenter of protests during Martial Law — one of the darkest periods of Philippine history. Samasa is a documentary film that aims to uncover the narratives of some Cebuano victims and survivors who resisted the dictatorship of Marcos Sr.
