Synopsis
Kyiv, 1911. Whilst searching for a juicy case to shock the readers of his morning gazette, sensationalist journalist Andriy Bezlapyi learns about the ritualistic murder of a young boy and the prime suspect in the case: a Jewish man named Mendel Beilis. Convinced about the authenticity of the claims and intrigued by the judicial process, he starts chronicling it, however, the further the hearings go, the more it becomes clear that Beilis is nothing more than a victim of the Russian Empire's brutal antisemetic policies.
